| Route from N3 if you are heading North:
Travelling North along the
N3 highway (Eastern By-pass), take the Van Buuren Rd. offramp. At
the first set of robots after coming off the off-ramp, turn right into
Van Buuren Rd. and pass beneath the highway which you were previously travelling
on. Just after passing the Hyundai motor dealership on your left-hand side,
turn right at the robots into Norman Rd. As you enter Norman Road,
you must turn immediately right again into Lucas Lane which is a
slip road that runs parallel to Van Buuren Rd.
You will then be required
to pass through an access-control boom. Immediately after passing through
the boom, turn left into Douglas Road and head uphill.
About half-way up the hill,
on the right-hand side, just after passing the street called Killoran
Place (which goes off to the right) , you will see a panhandle entrance
with an overhung beam marked “ 22 DOUGLAS ROAD”. Turn right into
this panhandle.
Route from N3 if you are heading South:
Travelling South along the
N3 highway (Eastern By-pass), after passing the suburb of Dowerglen on
the left, move over to the right-hand or middle
lane to avoid the Witbank, O.R. Tambo International and Johannesburg split-away
to the left at the Gilooly’s interchange. Follow the signs for Germiston,
Kimberley and Durban. After passing the Gilooly’s interchange, stay in
the middle or left lane and take the Van Buuren Road offramp which brings
you to a set of robots at a T- junction with Van Buuren Rd.
Turn left into Van Buuren
Rd. and then right at the very first robot into Norman Road.
As you enter Norman Road, you must turn immediately right again into Lucas
Lane which is a slip road that runs parallel to Van Buuren Rd.
You will then be
required to pass through an access-control boom. Immediately
after passing through the boom, turn left into Douglas Road
and head uphill. About half-way up the hill, on the right-hand
side, just after passing the street called Killoran Place
(which goes off to the right) , you will see a panhandle entrance
with an overhung beam marked “ 22 DOUGLAS ROAD”. Turn right
into this panhandle.
